Wagih El Masri is an accredited Surgeon in the field of Traumatic Spinal Injuries (TSI).He trained at Stoke Mandeville, Oxford, Guys Hospitals & the USA between 1971&1982. Appointed Director of the MCI Centre in the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital Oswestry (44 beds) between 1983 & 2014. He treated 10,000 patients with cord damage and took full responsibility of 3000 patients from the first few hours/days of injury to end of life. Published 148 manuscript, lectured worldwide . Past President of ISCoS - Received National & International Awards from a range of Institutions including the House of Lords in the UK.

MAS Ahmed is a Clinician with expertise in Childhood Headache. He delivers regular childhood headache clinics at the Queen’s University Hospital, Essex. He is an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary University London. His clinical research has focused upon the assessment of patients with emphasis on the use of brain imaging for the well-being of children with headache and visual aura among patients with paroxysmal disorders such as migraine and syncope. He is active in teaching of medical students and paediatricians. He has received top teacher of the year awards and excellence in medical education award by eminent London Universities.

Andreas Demetriades a neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon I deal with adult and paediatric patients with brain and spine problems. A special interest of mine is the spine, having received further specialised training in both simple and complex spinal procedures as well as minimally invasive spine surgery. My aim is to treat these conditions non-operatively as far as possible. To this effect I have supplemented my training with post-specialisation fellowships in both neurosurgical and orthopaedic centres, both in the UK and abroad, thus obtaining a unique perspective on treatment options and techniques.

Anna has practiced critical care and emergency nursing since 1978 in both small rural and larger metropolitan areas. She specializes in trauma intensive care, emergency, and disaster nursing. Anna maintains competency through practice, mentoring new faculty, and continued research efforts.

Janean E. Holden, PhD, RN, FAAN is the Barbara A. Therrien Collegiate Professor of Nursing. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan and did post-doctoral research in Pharmacology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research focus is on the role of the hypothalamus in descending pain modulation with emphasis on the role of norepinephrine in the spinal cord.

Alex Kiselyov is an accomplished Biotech R&D expert, with over 20 years of Pharma/Biotech and Foundation experience in drug discovery and preclinical development. He completed his Doctorate in Chemistry at Georgia State University in Atlanta followed by postgraduate studies at the Ben May Institute for Cancer Research (University of Chicago) and Columbia University (New York). He has directly contributed to over 10 clinical programs across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, CV, dementias and cognitive disorders. Tang Wai Kwong was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His main research areas are Addictions and Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
