Founding Member (2007) and Prime Vice-President of the Romanian Society for Neurorehabilitation (RoSNeRa) - affiliated to WFNR. Founding Member and Prime Vice-President of the Romanian Spinal Cord Society (RoSCoS) - affiliated to ISCoS) and ESCIF. Member of the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS, since 2000), World Federation for Neurorehabiliation (WFNR, since 2008), Euroacademia Multidisciplinaria Neurotraumatologica (EMN, since European Federation of NeuroRehabilitation (since 2014), International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (since 2016), and in many Romanian Scientific Societies. Coordinator of the Romanian team in 5 international projects, participant in 4 national projects. He participated to the educational project "eleanSCI.org", launched by ISCoS in 2012.
Actively implied in national educational prophylactic interventions, aimed to prevent severe central nervous lesions (TBI and SCI ─ http://www.worldsciday.org/romania_avs.html “Prevention of SCI AV for General Public 00:15 secs”). Co-author of 2 patent certificates (appointed by the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Marks, OSIM), 9 books, and over 60 published papers. Fluently in English and French.
